Quaint place in the way to Kinnegard. I am very surprised about this restaurant. I am a exigent customer about the taste and quality and I feel very satisfied. Good service and atmosphere.
Great vintage Village bar in a scenic location with homemade food. Enjoyed the atmosphere, local vibe and ease of access and parking. Popular with friendly locals and visitors alike, better to pre-book.
Popped in Wednesday last week and was greeted with a lovely open fire which was most welcome on a bitter cold day.
This was followed by such lovely hospitality the staff were just naturally friendly and made you feel very welcome followed by great food which was served promptly and piping hot.
Himself said the pints of Guinness were excellent so much so he opted for another pint at the end instead of a coffee high praise indeed.
I would suggest booking a table as they were very busy.
I stopped by to see Fureys so my kids can see their namesake spot. We didn't eat there, but it was quite charming looking.
Nice pub with unique Irish atmosphere! If you are starving - order food, if you are thirsty - drink a cold pint of beer!!! There is a beautiful path along Boyne River near this pub!
:) cute, cozy, and awesome food!! Their home made desserts are a must have. Everyone kept trading bites!
The decor and interior is very cozy, the inviting, and cool. I wish we could have visited more times so I could really try the menu.
The womans bathroom was also really nice by the way! Like, perhaps recently updated?
One note, as we loved our visit here and the employees were so nice, they do close the kitchen pretty early. You should call ahead and ask when they close it, or at least ask them to keep it open if you have to come in late.
I hope I get to return one day. :) thank you for serving us!!!
You won't really be going to Furey's for the atmosphere, hence my three star rating there.
Service was pretty good, albeit a little slow due to being particularly busy for a weeknight.
My only major gripe is that, apart from a few specials, the menu never really changes...
Other than that, I'd say that you probably won't go wrong by stopping here, but book ahead - even on the day - to guarantee your preferred table, with no waiting.
Excellent food..but busy..make sure you book well in advance and doesnt serve food on Sunday...but really nice pub and located in a lovely spot. Well worth the effort.
